In 2020, I launched ELLEDAM Beauty Supply with a vision: to teach Black women how to love, embrace, and care for their natural hair. But there was an irony at the root of my mission — while I was creating and selling natural hair products, I didn’t truly love my own hair.
The products were authentic, but I wasn’t. I struggled with accepting my natural hair, often over-treating it to fit the images of beauty I saw in magazines. Eventually, I lost a significant amount of my hair and had to shave it all off. This time, though, the experience felt different.
From that moment forward, I began a new journey — not just of growing my hair, but of learning to love it. My short, kinky hair became a reflection of something deeper: a renewal of my mind and spirit. I came to understand that my beauty was not defined by society’s standards, but by the truth of GOD’s Word.

Through Jeremiah 1:5, I was reminded that GOD knew me before I was formed, that I am HIS masterpiece, and that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. This revelation shifted everything. My hair was no longer just hair — it became a confirmation of divine craftsmanship.

Now, I no longer see beauty as something to chase in the mirror. I see it as something cultivated from within — an alignment of self-love, faith, and authenticity.
With this conviction, I am relaunching ELLEDAM Beauty.
We are on a mission to develop products and services that inspire others to embrace their natural beauty — not just on the outside, but from within.
ELLEDAM Beauty is more than a brand — it is a community and a reminder that we are all masterpieces, made in the image of GOD.
